Hi am am Stephen from Surrey, BC Canada
I collect 1/64 scale cars. I like Majorette, Siku Matchbox and Tomica toy cars I am working on getting a collection of NASCAR cars from 00-99.
I prefer older racing champion cars. and as for cas i like it is basically toy cars that are models of real cars and preferably without graphics.
Thank You

I was born and raised in Vancouver, BC before there was such a place as Surrey, BC. It was just staring up in 1969 when I graduated. LOL

Welcome Stephen, always good to have a new member on the Forum. I'm sure you'll enjoy the banter here and hope you are able to share your particular area of interest with us - there are plenty here who collect similar scale cars as you do. Enjoy. 8)

O.K. Sandy, you have convinced me come out of my shell a bit!! I am a man of 60 (sadly) and I never grew up. I am just an older boy. I have most of my toys as child, and added to them a lot. I have Dinky's, a few Solidos, lots of Tootsietoys, Midgetoys, Lone stars, Crescents, Benbros, Charbens, Models of Yesteryear (old and new), EFI, a couple of Morestone, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Barclays (a U.S. older company), Kansas Novelty (another U.S. older company, Manoil (another U.S. older company. see not everything was made in England), and a lot of trains. I like everything British, have travelled a lot even though I am in a practically land-locked country. Been to England, Italy, France, Greece, Turkey, Mexico, Canada, ridden on the Orient Express, am an inveterate armchair railroader, rather well-read, an illiterate (no formal degree), aware of current events (sometimes not to proud of what this country does), appreciate other cultures, beginning to question organized religion a lot, play clarinet and other more minute interests too numerous to mention.[/u][/b]

Thank you, Nile for your potted autobiography. :D
I'm also into railways, and spend a lot of time on my virtual railway programme, 'Trainz'.
I mostly run older British locos and rolling stock, my main interest being GWR (Great Western Railway) and early British Railways, (pre 1967).
Lots of steam, some diesel, and plenty of non-fitted freight trains! :D
I also have Microsoft Train Simulator and many of the 'Add-On' Packs for it, although it doesn't get used very often, as I much prefer 'Trainz'.

Last weekend, I got hold of a lot of 'N' Gauge rolling stock and about twelve locomotives. (Most early British, although there is a TGV in there somewhere!).
P.M. me, Nile, if you would like more info on Rail Sims for your computer. 8)

Good to hear your background Nile, I suspect you're not alone in that I guess most of us here haven't finished growing up despite our years!
