The Proud FatherAs most of you already know Scouse Soldier is my son. Its very rare that he posts now as he is so busy doing exams and getting ready for life in the RAF. He is hoping to become a Chinook helicopter pilot. Here are a few photos of him after he earned his motor glider wings. He can now fly a Vigilant aircraft solo. Well done son I'm very proud of you. Not bad for a kid from Liverpool.

Well done to all!!!! Dont know how it works there but something that is very true here in the states is that any pilot who leaves a successful helicopter pilot career in the USAF here can generally get a job with any hospital Air unit. Face it if you can pilot a huge multimill-billion dollar aircraft while getting shot at you certainly can pilot it with one person half out of this world under normal life conditions. Congrats to you both so few young people <my generation> take it upon themselves to put their country first in their life.
