Spotted while browsing the webI spotted these 2 beauties while I was browsing the web.
This one is a Hillman Husky I believe though I've never seen a real one( too young )
Next...
Can anybody shed any light on this Trader? Like when and how many were built ect..?

It could also be a Commer Cob...the "Commercial" variant of the Husky.
It's a lovely little vehicle whatever it may be.
Sorry, can't offer you any info on the Trader.

The Thames Trader made its debut in 1958 as direct competition to the 'S' class Bedford which had cornered the market in middleweight lorries, I understand the Trader outsold the Bedford within months.

Love the Trader Bulldog, the Commer Cob/ Husky looks like an Australian model.

The Cob/Husky photo looks like it was taken in Thailand judging by the red taxi in the background- quite common to see old cars done up like that over there with modern paint jobs and mechanics
Here's a Hillman Minx I spotted whilst on holiday there last year

CommerI love the Commer, not quite so impressed by the wheels on the Minx. I thought the photo was downtown South Shields.....isn't that Gaz's Lambretta in the background

Lovely Hillman Minx, but doesn't the suspension look a bit high?

I prefer the Husky but they've both been done really well! Quite ingenious, with doing their conversions over there!
