Pleased to be joining you....Hello from New York City...well actually, from one of the NYC suburbs...I am Bob, and as noted above, I am pleased to join the group...I collect pretty much everything "toys".... including plastic and metal toy soldiers, plastic model kits, trains, and of course vintage Diecast---Matchbox, Dinky, Corgi primarily...but anything really that strikes my eye and my interest.
I also have a substantial number of modern diecast pieces..these seem to come along in collections of just about every type of toys...and while they are not a primary collecting priority, the state of the design, manufacturing and painting technology in some of these pieces is quite amazing.
In any case, I look forward to some serious interaction....chatting, buying, selling...and of course accessing the years of information and experience represented by this group.
