I can sense a code 3 coming along. What about one with flames and 'boy racer' wheels.

Looks a bit girly with those flowers, but then again, it is a "her's"!
Duncan

Ooooooh Fred, that's bad!!!!

That goes way past 'bad' and comes out the other side!

Has anyone else planned their funeral?

I told my lot I wanted 'He shall feed his sheep' from Handel's Messiah played at mine and they said they would put on the next track too... 'He was despis-ed, despised and rejected'

Sometimes I don't think I'm fully appreciated by my family.

Mind you that hearse puts me in mind of my Daimler 420 - might be a nice colour scheme for it.
sandie seward

Even if I was a first class diecast restorer (which I am most certainly not), I could not bring myself to do that to my lovely shiny black Oxford Daimler Hearse!

I couldn't even do it to a real Daimler either come to that...and I was a member of that "Flower-Power" generation too.

However, regarding funerals, I have already stated that I do not want a religious service, nor do I want any church send-off or flowers!

Having my close brush with the Grim Reaper earlier this year, made me realise a lot of things, including my eventual funeral has to be stated here and now whilst I am of "sound mind" (at least I think so....others probably wouldn't).

Music?   "My Way" by the Sex Pistols, and "Angels" by Robbie Williams.

As I will be cremated, seen the films of people waking up in the box one of the tunes has to be "Fire" by Arthur Brown

And just in case it gets out of hand have Fire Brigade by the Move as a backup tune
Stuart

Hearse

I could be tempted to convert my OD Hearse into a camper (no pun intended) van.

As for the big day, cardboard box into the fire while Hendrix plays Red House with volume set to 11, and afterwards spread over the garden (might as well be useful all the way)
Guzzi Gadgy

Thats a hot number Stu

cremations

I would like the Gracie Fields ( who`s she?)song played  "Wish me luck as you wave me goodbye". but I dont think the family would like that.
orinocowomble

Went to a funeral recently, for someone far too young, and it was The Animals 'We gotta get out of this place'.
sandie seward

As an ex-Biker I suppose I could have played "Terry" by Twinkle, or "Leader of the Pack" by the Shangri-las!!!!!!
vincent ryder

As a fixed wing aircraft and balloon pilot I'll have "Up up and away in my beautiful balloon".  No religious stuff, just a simple cremation followed a major celebratory bash for my friends.   My ashes are to be sprinkled in The Grand Canyon, my favorite place on earth !   However, prior to that I shall continue to enjoy this great adventure called life to the fullest.
Guzzi Gadgy

Good choice Sandie

My wife says she'll dance on my grave, sounds good to me I'm having my ashes scattered at sea    (old ones are the best ones)

I am going to sing at my own funeral!

I am a bit of a singer, used to sing in the pubs and clubs 'up north' in the sixties and seventies then ran my own part time Karaoke business in the nineties.

I have made a few recordings in that time, and the song I will be singing at my funeral? My Way, of course.

My two daughters already each have a copy of the CD at the ready!!

Should raise a few eyebrows!!
Guzzi Gadgy

Ever sing at Ryton Social Club
