We went to a barbecue nearby, just got home again. Not much worth mentioning, apart form the fact I finished a few models, but you do not want to see them....

It's been quiet on all the forums that I view...

My problem is that I don't watch TV unless heartbeat is on or the Royal and sky News for half an hour each day
I would be quite happy without a TV

Same here
Yesterday afternoon I made the most of the weather spraying my latest resto project which should be finished soon I might not be as active over the next few weeks as I'll be starting 2nd year at college tomorrow, and I'm getting ready for my driving test on the 28th of this month

Makes carful note NOT to be in Hertfordshire on the 28th!
Best of luck Daniel.

Hmm, that's a tough one. When I was on holiday on the continent for over 2 weeks, I didn't even catch a glimpe of a TV, and I didn't miss it one bit yet when I'm at home I watch it a lot. While I was on holiday, I'd be sitting outside in nothing but my shorts until midnight every night because it was so hot, yet here by 8:00pm even if it's been sunny all day, it's bloody freezing and I find myself stuck inside watching the TV.
And good luck with the driving test Dan!

Best wishes with the driving test Daniel!!
Have to say, I noticed the forum was quiet, I most of the time don't watch TV much, apart from the Grand Prix yesterday, and the news every evening. I only really watch a one off documentary if it's interesting, Heartbeat or the Royal or Top Gear (Why sometimes I don't know?? ) or Ashes to Ashes when it was on (there should be another series next year apparantley).
When I'm not on the forum, I like to read car or history books or watch DVD's of all sorts of OLD TV shows, tehy were so much better...........

Likewise Mark, I have copies of all the original Saint, Avengers, Sweeney and Minder on DVD which I will put on just to check out the street scenes. TV was so much better pre- political correctness.

I agree Stuart! I have the Sweeney as well, the Professionals, New Avengers, Special Branch, (70's London cop show), Department S, Man in a Suitcase, Randall and Hopkirk, and the later Return of the Saint and The Persuaders - all the tops!
