Is Nothing Sacred ...

I know each generation can view a film in a different way, and that effects these days can transform even a classic story, but I think some films should just remain as we remember them.

And the latest gossip is that they are even talking of making it a 3D release ...

This is a classic film that we all love bit I for 1 can't wait for the remake though I do hope its sympathetic to the original.

Though what they are going to call the dog is beyond me!

They should at least keep the dog's name original, Black People can call themselves it, but should a Whitey use it all hell breaks loose!

Call a spade a spade, and keep it original and be damned with Political Correctness!!!!

Who you callin whitey?  I will have you know I wish to referrred to as a Northern Inland Glaswegian-Grey Australian.  Oh, %$#&@ I just realised that spells Nigga.

As well as the name of Commander Gibson's black labrador, more importantly for true historical accuracy, Nigger was also the code word for a successfull breach of the Mohna dam.

In its historical context the word is not meant to give offence, so I think it would be crazy not to include it. But then, so much of modern correctness in absolute madness, why should it be any difference in this case.
