Hi everyone I am a very long way from this site as I live way down under in New Zealand.

I am 69 years old and will be seventy in Feb next year. I owned a small collection of die cast cars while living in Australia. But they were secondary to my large collection (city) of electric trains. which are no more as I had to sell everything at a loss to leave Australia to come home to retire in New Zealand.

You say down under. Yes, most people say down under when referring to Australia and New Zealand, but that is a frame of reference where we all are assuming we are up top. Maybe we are down under!! Thank you one and all for the warm welcome. That would have to have been the warmest welcome I have ever had.

Disregarding of course that time when I saw about a hundred men and woman bearing down on my house armed with fire brands and pitchforks. It was just as well my horse was saddled and I got away.

I can't say nothing. That is impossible for a man who writes the way he talks. And talks the way he writes.

Eg. In one year I had seventy---70--- letters published in the local paper The Townsville Bulletin. A city in North Queensland, a city which would be a lot larger than Hamilton in New Zealand.and one letter published in the state capital (Brisbane). viz the Courier Mail. making 71 letters in a year.

So you can see I write and talk a lot. And no I have never been to Ireland and kissed the Blarney Stone.
