Dave Parker

Hi from Derbyshire

Hi I'm Dave. I have collected diecast for more than 20 years and also do restorations. I am also a dealer of obsolete diecast models but have no intention of advertising here. However, if requested I will watch out for particular models.
I have something in common with Gaz, I think. as I was actually born in South Shields, but have lived in Derbyshire most of my life.
I am hoping to find new friends and acquaintances with the same interests as me. Anything diecast is my area.

Hi Dave, welcome to the friendliest forum on the net. Nice to know we have another Geordie on here, these Yorkshiremen are just about taking over.

Kees, don't you mean lovely Life?

Hmm, Gaz, I suppose when you have a lovely wife, you live a lovely life. But living a lovely life doesn't mean......oh forget it.

You are much better now, right? That's why I posted the remark.......

I'm just the other side of Chesterfield from Matlock. A little village called Bolsover (famous for it's MP Dennis Skinner).

Getting too old for riding mopeds I prefer more comfortable modes of transport nowadays. As for the wife ... aren't they all lovely (good she's gone at last)

What you talking about man. We had electricity ...  we just had to take turns pedalling the bike. We had running water ...  or at least we did until they came and fixed the roof. OK   you done me on the roads I must admit the pink concrete is a little strange.
