Hi from a newbieHi
I have just joined the forum as I am an avid collector of diecast vehicles since I was about 12 years old, when I realised I got just as much happiness from displaying them as I did from 'driving' them on the carpet!
I am now 29 (soon to be 30!), married & from sunny Essex.
My collection spans most makes & models of vehicles, but my main interest is in Police vehicles, particularly London Metropolitan Police vehicles. I have been making my own Code 3 police models for a few years now (for my own enjoyment), though I regularly buy & sell models on Ebay. I am just starting to move into customizing / converting models to create unique & 1 off models for my own collection.

Matt, alays glad to see another new member on the forum. I'm sure there are 1 or 2 members on here already who dabble in police vehicles, not doubt they will make themselves known to you soon ! .gif)

NewbieWelcome Matt from the U.S. It is a pleasure to hear of particular interests such as yours, police vehicles. There are so many different directions you can go with an interest like that. There are some interesting photos on here of special vehicles and I am sure no manufacturer will make up models of these so there will always be new code 3 material to model from. Welcome here.

Hello there Mattclay. Welcome to you, and no doubt you will find other members that collect policecars. Most of them who do, were somewhere along the line chased by policecars themselves, but even if you were not, you can still stay in of course.
