, Nice to have you om board. The 261 is a little tricky for your first restoration . Good luck with it. If all goes well you can finish off my 5.

I have completed one of the six and heres what it should look like.

Hello and welcome Nocker, I didn't hear you come in, did you use the bell?

Would be great if you could tell us a little bit more about yourself and what you like to collect?

Please fill out your profile and read our forum rules.

hi and
hope you enjoy it lots of people will help with that problem
keesie25

Now I could be wrong, but it seems Nocker already left.......

It has been mentioned before, but I take the opportunity to mention that there are members that introduced themselves, and do not post. Logging in, you can see which members are on line. It occured to me that there are members that never posted or only posted their intro, are on line sometimes, and not active.
Come on guys -and girls-, can I tempt you to give your opinion on things here......!?
kitkatman

Yeah come on folks, see if you can catch Keesie up!

Hello Nocker and welcome to the forum from the U.S. You will get plenty of help on here about restorations and the like. There is always someone who can help. As it was said earlier the James Bond Astin is a rather tough restoration because of so many parts. You picked a good one for the 1st!!!
Nocker

Hey Guys thanks for all the good stuff.

I have seen some of the restorations now and wow some of the stuff is top quality. I have three jobs on the go at the moment as i am waiting parts. The UFO interceptor...painted it but don't like the colour match, everythings working though. The Corgi 270 as i mentioned, awaiting the ejector seat mech.. and I have just striped a Chitty Chitty down and fixed the wing mechanism, again waiting for bits..e.g the four people.

Thats aboyt it for now...see ya soon....John

Knocker, Heres a link to a friend of mine. He sells original parts for most Corgis and Dinkys. He will be able to sell you the Chitty family. Tell him I sent you. He gives as good discount.
