Hello from Sweden!

Hello to all,
My name is Keith a retired Welshman living in the heart of Sweden and enjoying every minute (Up untill the last minute of injury time that is)
My passion is collecting Dinky trade boxes, I bought my first one in Canada 9 years ago not really knowing what it was, but it looked really inviting seeing 6 mint models tucked in an old yellow box! 150 boxes later and I'm still hooked. New additions are becoming rare to find but I'll keep trying.
Here's to the first post of many. (I hope)

A big thanks to Chris Knight for directing me to this site.

hello

Hello Keith, a warm welcome to you. I want to tell you this is a friendly forum, and you can not only talk about car models, but also about wood and ABBA. you will have to tell us more about your collection. Trade boxes? I mean, are those boxes that the factory sent to the shops? Do you collect them including the cars?

Hi and Welcome to the site

Thank you all for the warm welcome.
In answer to some of your questions.
Yes trade boxes are the factory shipping boxes. I have quite a few on my wegsite, I'm not much for the written stuff I'm more of a picture person. Here is the link.
http://www.dinkytradebox.com/
I have boxes full, part full and empty.
When the boxes are stored away as mine are they take up no room at all, I did try to display them, with all the models out of their boxes, I ran out of cabinets so I packed them away again.

Wood is very expensive here considering there is so many trees around.
Abba's music lives on, long may it live!
