hello from cheshire

just a quickie so as i can get browsing! i'm paul, loving the fact that all the old stuff i remember seeing in the local newsagent shop is still out there. the one nearest me (whitby road, ellesmere port) used to have a huge tiered display of the best of the dinky and matchbox range. getting a little misty eyed at the memory... well guys, the scale models are a damn sight easier than the real thing which i have made a sort of a living at for the last thirty odd years!

Welcome TDCIguy. Where does the name come from? Hmm, I was gonna call you Paul, which is easier, but there are people in here which bear your name, and we don't want to mix up things, do we? Anyway, you are welcome!

A warm welcome Paul, get browsing and then start chatting. I hope you decide to stay with us as there are plenty of like minded trade lads here too, myself included

I think our new friend is in the motor trade Keesie. TDCi stands for Turbodiesel common rail injection, I think A new type of diesel engine that is getting very poular now, I'm not sure but I think it was developed by Ford.

It's just a shame that nostalgia is not what it used to be.
