Good whilst it lasts!!

Don't know how other non-British members are finding things at the moment, but the Aussie dollar is worth 52p just now. Makes buying on e-bay etc relatively cheap. Bit different to not that long ago when we were down to 33p.

Canadian $ (dollar) also.
Makes for our purchases a good deal but kills sales especially to the US!!!!
I remember, not too long ago, when a £ Sterling was about $2.50 CDN.
Today   1 £  =  $1.75 CDN    or  57p   =  1 $CDN
That's about a 30% difference in a few short years.
Biggest problem though is it fluctuates considerably.

Ebay

I agree Orinoco and I have been taking advantage of the good rate. What is annoying me at the moment is the scammers trying to rip me off with unrealistic postage. A single Vanguards model quoted anywhere from 3.20 to 10.50 pounds airmail (unregistered / no signature). Bah!
Andrew

I'm so pleased for you guys

On my last trip to Germany a week or so ago I only took some Euro change and spent a total of 1 Euro on a chocolate bar at the airport on the way home. No shopping for Andrew with the rates like they are now!
