Good evening everyone

Good evening everyone,
this is my 2nd attempt at saying hello as my original message appears to have gone west.
Just a brief introduction to say hello from the forum's latest newbie.
I'm a Scouser awaiting the arrival of his first child, due yesterday, who's interest in Diecast started with EFE some years ago and will hopefully pass on to the nipper!
My interests have now diversified to encompass Traing Minic Ships and I've joined up to see if there are any experts on restoring the original Blue range of ships within the membership.
Looking forward to speaking to you soon.
Cheers.

Welcome to our forum Nick, and thank you for your introduction. I don't think the subject of Triang Minic Ships has come up before, but your in the right place to get some help on restoring them.

Join in whenever you can, and before long, you'll be hooked like the rest of us.

Hello Nick, welcome to you. What is a scouser? Probably a Liverpudlian, right? I have nice memories about Liverpool.

Nick, I've heard of those ships as well, but only know what I've read in the diecast mags about them. Still, I 'm sure there will be someone on here with more knowledge of them !

Hi keesie25, you're spot on with your guess I am a Liverpudlian and it's nice to hear you have fond memories of our city.  There've been a great many changes over the years, especially of late.  The new Museum of Liverpool Life is being built on the waterfront and I'm hoping they'll do the decent thing and devote suitable space to the great Frank Hornby and our ever engaging hobby!

Cheers.

Hi Nick, I was in Liverpool a long time ago, I thought around 1984. Of course we went to Matthew street (my other hobby....), and I remember we went to a very big park, which was in a very early stage, so not finished yet. And of course we took the ferry across the Mersey!

Nick!
