Below is a link to one of the best pieces of sound engineering work . It is a composite audio/video of song whereby additional tracks were laid in by differentsingers and musicians from different places around the world. The song itself is that classic standard "Stand By Me" originally released in 1955 by The StapleSingers and released again in 1961 by the Drifters.

Found that vid ages ago Gary, in fact there is a link to it from my Silversurfers' Forum.
It really is a great montage of street artists covering what is, anyway, a R'n'B Classic!

Some of his stuff is good. I have to be in the mood if you know what I mean. I'd to see him live.

Cheers Gaz, not bad for just two strings eh.

Thanks for that clip Gary, I like good old "down to earth" blues like that.

Did anyone else notice on the "Stand by Me" vid that poor old Grandpa Elliot was wearing odd socks? Actually he looks as though he has impaired vision, and I would hazard a guess that he lives alone and does his best to care for himself, which means that he would have another pair of those odd socks at home too!
Gaz
I didn't notice it Sandie, but I have two pairs of sock like that too.

I must admit I do prefer the Grifters sorry drifters original version
