I seem to remember reading about a street-legal rocket-powered car in the USA in about 1939/40.
If that scooter's finished I think the rider will need bicycle clips to avoid leaving a trail!  |

Whatever you do there s always some agency arresting you for it. They search the books, the laws, the ordinances, to find some law no matter how vague to put a stop to man's ingenuity. What a great car. Interesting to read about the magazine's lukewarm response to the invention and then turning it down because it didn't use enough of the advertiser's products. Makes you wonder of the magazine's purposes. Actually doesn't make you wonder, bu proves it.
