Hello everyone, my name is peteh, i joined this forum a few years ago but have not made many posts. I have dropped in now and again to see whats going on and have a nose at some resto's and code 3 models. I have been collecting diecasts for at least 17 years, i do buy a fair few diecasts from bootfairs and ebay etc. My collection is mainly Corgi and Dinky, although i do have a fair amount of norev and Solido Renaults Citroens, the odd matchbox lesney Superfast Superkings and majorette. I have a very patient wife, she must be with the amount of diecast ive got in our living room. The past year has seen me going quite crazy buying models, i love digging through the toy baskets at bootfairs and have picked up some pretty nice dinky and Corgi models this way. I would like to share my hobby with you all, so i hope we can have a good chat via this forum

Sounds good peteh! Except being from the US and collecting matchbox's primarily sounds like we got a good amount in common lol!  Those bins at the swaps/flea markets for me can generally hold the best priced lil finds for restoring.

Hello there Peteh -and also to Dean- . We are glad you're back, and sure hope you will 'stay' in. Peteh, there are lots of members here that you can talk to about Dinky. Only a few though you can adress about Corgi. Let's call it the elite.

A big welcome    to this great site, hope to see some of your models

You're right I love rummaging around in boxes under tables at Toyfairs for bargains, you never know what you find
