Well, Autumn clean really. Today, whilst Alice has had a day in bed as she hasn't been too well, (typical as she has a week off from work), I decided to give our car a spruce up. Wev'e had the car three years, but with me having so many other cars to look after, (my sisters X-Trail, my van, the Rover, Chris's Daimler and A30 & variuos others) my Zafira seems to get left out when it comes to getting pampered.
So, today, I gave it a machine polish and a full wax. It's come up like a new car. Not bad for a 7 year old car.
I'm sure to pay for it tomorrow as the weather will be lousy.

I never use anything else Sandie. I've used it for 30 years and always had fantastic results. When I first started to use it, the only place I could get it from, was Wembley market in London.
I used to buy a bottle every time I visited my sister, who lived in Wembley for 35 years, off a guy who used to sell it, by demonstrating the MER polish on a red bonnet at a stall in the market. One side of the bonnet was totally flat, and the other side was bright and shinney. I like it for the fact it has no silicones in it, which is a painters nightmare. _________________ Gary......

I took a photo of my hard work today. It's like having a new car all over again.

I use Mer, but I don't waste it on my real car, it's reserved for models. |

I notice Gaz that you have the NL (Northern) registration, (mine is NU) but you also have CCU on the number plate, the old South Shields registration letters (CU), was it intentional or coincidence? _________________ Best Regards.............Jim |

Coincidence, Jim, pure coincidence. I bought the car 3 years ago from the local Auction, as I needed something big enough to get my old Mum in, plus these cars have the biggest opening on a rear door that you have ever seen. It's an ex mobility car, just like Sandies new one.
If you have a car on Mobility, once the car gets to 3 years old, you can either buy them outright, off the mobility company, or hand them back and the mobility company will seel them on, nearly always putting them through the auctions. The cars are religiously serviced and, mostly looked after, as what ever damage that is on the car when you hand it back in, has to be paid for.
I paid £5500 3 years ago, and the car only had 21,000 miles on it. It still only has 34000 on it now. It's a really nice roomy car.
